We are in San Francisco visiting Ryan/Anne and the girls. Take off for New Zealand is the evening of Sunday, Feb 2. Feb 3 will disappear somewhere and we arrive in the morning of Feb 4. Generally, the flight to NZ has not been too difficult the two previous trips as the skies are dark nearly the whole time and it is morning when we arrive.
We will take a taxi to the apartment and not deal with a rental car for the first month while in Wellington. Driving is on the 'wrong' side; crossing a road can be dangerous when the habit is to look to the wrong direction.
