We stayed in our Tucson home for 15 months to avoid Covid as the condos in Baltimore are in a building with 65 others and there are too many people on elevators, mail room and hallways. Because of Covid, the drive back did not offer the usual stops at museums, BBQ joints and a visit to St. Louis to see friends and family, so instead of a 14 day drive, we drove the 2,400 miles in 5 days and 4 nights. The audiobook "News of the World" helped to pass the time and kept us awake.
Amazingly, everything in the chest freezer survived the 15 months. We even had bagels and lox the next morning, with no freezer 'burn'. If anyone wants to know the advantages of a chest freezer over any other kind, just ask.
