This was my 18th Maryland ride for MS. My Team, MS-BALTIMORE, ranked 4th of 68 Teams, just below Wells-Fargo. There were 330 riders and about 200 volunteers. My Team had only 12 registered members and 8 riders, but we did have major donors, including one Team member who added $10K to the pot. More than 70 donors contributed to my ride.
Weekend: I take my Team to dinner Fri night and we do a long ride (70 mi) on Sat and a short ride (30 mi) on Sun. The Society takes good care of us with rest stops every 10-15 miles, BBQ dinner on Sat and box lunches on Sun.
A most rewarding and beautiful weekend. Looking forward to next year.
